I felt odd after painting this piece. It was quite an unusual
experience. I found that I began writing parts conversations I
wanted to have with people and wiping it off etc I got a lot off my
chest that night. I think it was the first time I have had an
argument with a wall... sober. |

Wanted to refine how I draw female faces after reflection on my time
in Dublin…. |
'Her Redundant Heart' at St Andrews Lane, Dublin. DMC 2011. This
piece for Dublin Contemporary: Roadworks is inspired by a story of a
heartbroken girl in the streets of Dublin. The DubCon theme
'Terrible Beauty' led me to painting the missed-call, tears, the
downcast girls and the Irish rain... all of these floating in a rush
of colours and verticals. |

Redundant Heart'. Inspired by a story of a heartbroken girl in the
