Scrap surfaces and found textures scanned into Photoshop, combined with photography, sketching, masking tape, dried marker and various other media to create each illustration. There is a slight element of humour in some of the pieces. There is a loose and free approach evident in these works. Imagery created with great attention to space and colour. Photoshop has been used but simply as an arrangement or compositional tool. Used to scale, rotate, to multiply layers and to adjust brightness and contrast. No filters applied and no computer-generated imagery. Mostly hand rendered work, torn edges, raw marks and dirty mistakes.
